Sorry you feel that way, this is a self portrait and I can honestly say that this piece was due to the natural evolution of my work from experimenting with 4 pointed diamond, rhombus and then cube patterns (please see links below):
The examples show me work that is above and beyond the maturity level and content of the piece in question, with differing subject matter and pretty much a different aesthetic, regardless of the materials and methods used. Your figurative work is abstracted, and this piece in particular is not...and there are too many coincidences for it to just be a 'natural progression'. This is my honest opinion. I am not attacking you. This is a criticism of similarity. I see your examples, have examined them, and they don't move me to change my opinion.
